Privacy Notice
Harrowtech.ai · last updated 9 September 2026
This notice explains what personal data Harrowtech.ai holds about you, why we hold it, and what you can do about it. It applies in two cases: if we have contacted you by email about our services, and if you have filled in the contact form on our website.
Who we are
Harrowtech.ai is the data controller. You can reach us at hello@harrowtech.ai.
If we emailed you: what we hold, and where we got it
We only collect information that businesses have published themselves. We do not buy lists and we do not use hidden tracking.
| What | Business name, business email address, website address, business address, and sometimes the first name of an owner or director. |
|---|---|
| Where from | Your own public website, Google Places, OpenStreetMap and the Companies House public register. |
| What we do NOT do | We do not use tracking pixels, we do not record whether you opened an email, and we never sell your details to anyone. |
If we emailed you: why we hold it
To send you a short business email about website design and automation services, and to keep a record so we do not contact you again once you have asked us not to.
Our lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Our interest is in offering a relevant business service to other businesses. We have assessed this against your rights and concluded it is proportionate because we contact business addresses only, about a business matter, in low volume, with a clear identity and a one-step opt-out.
Where marketing email is concerned we also rely on the corporate subscriber provisions of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. We only email limited companies, LLPs and similar corporate bodies, which we verify against the Companies House register before contacting anyone.
If we emailed you: how long we keep it
We keep contact details for up to two years from our last contact with you, then delete them. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your email address on a suppression list, so that we can be sure we never contact you again.
If you filled in our contact form
This is separate from the above. If you used the form on our website, this is what happens to what you typed.
| What | Your name, email address, phone number, your company name if you gave one, and the message you wrote. |
|---|---|
| Where from | You typed it. We do not add anything to it. |
| Who handles it | The form is delivered by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which passes your message to our email inbox. They process it on our instructions only. Your message is also held in our email account. |
| Why | To reply to you and to take any steps you have asked us to take before we agree to work together. |
| Lawful basis | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interests in answering enquiries about our services. |
| How long | Two years from our last contact with you, then deleted. If the enquiry becomes a job, we keep what we need for our business records. |
We will not add you to a mailing list because you used the form, and we will not pass your details to anyone else to sell to you.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you
- Have it corrected
- Have it deleted
- Object to us using it — and for marketing this is absolute, we must stop
- Ask for a copy in a portable format
To use any of these, email hello@harrowtech.ai. We will respond within one month and there is no charge.
How to stop hearing from us
Reply to any of our emails and say so, in any words you like. That is enough. You do not need to click anything or fill in a form, and we will not ask you to confirm.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
